 "La Noche de Nuestra Senora"

The Guadalupanos & Matachines ministries will be holding several events in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe during the month of December. All at St. Jude are invited to attend:

  • Novena/Rosary from December 1st through the 9th after the 6:00 pm mass, including a dance by the Matachines for Our Lady every day right after the Novena/Rosary for the 9 consecutive days. On Saturday, December 9th, there will be a San Juan Diego Celebration and mass at 5:00 pm, with a dance by the Matachines after the Mass.
  • December 10th is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Procession would be at 4:00 pm, attendees are encouraged to bring a picture/statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Bilingual mass will be at 5:00 pm and dinner right after from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Parish Hall. 
  • December 11th the Matachines will dance from 10:00 pm-11:00 pm.  Holy Hour will be from 11:00 pm to 12:00 am and Bilingual Holy Mass from 12:00 am to 1:00 am. The Guadalupanos will be providing Atole and Sweet Mexican bread, after midnight mass.

Our group is dedicated to educating the community about Our Lady of Guadalupe and fundraising for her feast day. 

We are the first ministry group at St. Jude to be completely Spanish speaking. We meet in the Old Church every first Saturday of the month at 1:00 PM.
