The Catholic Daughters meet the 1st Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in a Parish Hall Classroom. They are on break every July and August.


Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principal of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.


Formed in 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. We are part of a national, state and local operation in which we donate to local charities administer a scholarship and strive to be helping hands to the needs of the

parish and the community.


Projects:

  • Parish Activities: St. Jude Fall Fiesta, Turkey Bingo
  • We support Parish needs as called upon
  • Candle Sales: Benefits yearly youth scholarship
  • CDA Raffle: Benefits St. Jude youth group participation in World Youth Day
  • CDA Cupcake Drive: Benefits Good Shepherd Homeless Shelter and Drug Treatment Center
  • Meals for Casa Esperanza: A Hospitality House for patients and their families to stay while receiving medical treatments for cancer and other serious conditions at Albuquerque hospitals
  • Genesis Rehab and Nursing Facility: Holiday resident sock drive
  • Poinsettia donations to brighten resident rooms
  • Needy Family Support: Court helped a family with diapers, newborn clothes, clothes for kids, gift cards and love
  • Charitable Community Donations: 2022 donations included $250 each to Project Defending Life and Haven House
