St. Jude Invites Children to Scuba VBS: Diving into friendship with God.

A summer kids’ event called Scuba VBS will be hosted at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church from June 24, 2024 to June 28, 2024. At Scuba, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with God! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, learn about Bible Memory Buddies and saints to remind them of God’s love, and test out sciency-fun experiments that get imagination bubbling. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Fin-tastic Finale that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Scuba is for kids in:

  • Kindergarten to 5th grade and will run from 8:45am to 12:15pm each day.
  • 6th grade to 8th grade and will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm each day.

VBS Registration is now open on our website: www.stjudenm.org/religious-education

Interested in volunteering? You may sign up on our website or contact Ms. Yvette Serna at (505) 897-4006 or by email Yvette@stjudenm.org.

St. Jude Family Bricks

Display your family's name in brick at St. Jude. St. Jude is now selling bricks with parishioner family names, displayed in front of the statue of St. Jude outside of the Parish Hall. One brick can have 3 lines of text, with 20 characters (including spaces) on each line. The cost of each brick is $100. Bricks can be ordered in the Parish Office, with cash or check payment. The funds raised will help with various projects, including to refresh the landscaping around the St. Jude, help re-coat and stripe the parking lot, build a playground, purchase statues, and create a Divine Mercy mosaic.
